Once you have chosen the Individual Advantage plan that's right for you, you are just a few easy steps away from purchasing and using UPMC Individual Advantage insurance!

Step 1: Complete and submit an application to UPMC Individual Advantage. This can be done online today.

Step 2: UPMC Health Plan reviews your application to determine your eligibility for coverage. This may happen immediately or take up to 48 hours.

Step 3: UPMC Individual Advantage e-mails you regarding your status.

Step 4: If approved, log in to your UPMC Individual Advantage account to accept your coverage and submit payment.

Step 5: UPMC Individual Advantage mails you a member ID card and a welcome kit that outlines your health benefits policy and exclusive wellness services. You should receive it within one week after you accept your coverage and submit payment.

Step 6: Congratulations, you are now a member of UPMC Individual Advantage! Exclusive wellness tools and member materials can be found on our members-only website, MyHealth OnLine. Log in at http://www.upmchealthplan.com.
