 Cathy Batteer is vice president, Medicare. Ms. Batteer is responsible for overall Medicare product performance, strategic direction, and related program development and implementation. She is jointly responsible, with the chief medical officer, for developing and maintaining the clinical program necessary to meet business goals related to quality and care management standards as well as financial targets. Ms. Batteer joined the Health Plan in 2005, bringing more than two decades of experience in the California managed care industry, where she held various senior management positions in provider network management, clinical operations, and sales.
Ms. Batteer holds a BS in Health Planning and Administration from the Pennsylvania State University and an MPA in Health Care Administration from the University of Southern California.
