Sharon Hicks, MSW, MBA

Sharon Hicks, MSW, MBA has been in the field of healthcare for over 25 years, first as a provider of behavioral health care, then in administrative roles and most recently in various positions in healthcare insurance.  She developed her interest in clinical information systems during her time in hospital administration as a member of a team that successfully implemented a computerized medical record for that organization.  In the past 10 years, Ms. Hicks has held the positions of President in a software company that develops and supports an electronic health record solution for behavioral health and Chief Information Officer of a behavioral health managed care company.  She brings her experience of integrating clinical and administrative workflow via information system to her most recent role as Vice President, Internet Strategy.
