UPMC Work Partners Introduces Centralized Leave Management Program for Employers
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (June 11, 2009) — UPMC Work Partners, a leader in providing health and productivity solutions, is introducing a new leave management service that will assist employers in complying with the complexities of federal and state regulations and minimize the impact of absences in the workplace..
Many human resources departments are overwhelmed by the challenges of effectively managing FMLA absence. “Work Partners Leave Management Program is a customized program with web-based access for employees and managers. It is designed to decrease administrative burdens for employers while providing real-time information on employees’ Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) use,” said David M. UPMC Work Partners’ Leave Management Program provides a platform for employers to more effectively manage any leave of absence – including FMLA military, and employee-sponsored leave.
