Qi Zhou Named Executive Director, Quality Performance Management,
For UPMC Health Plan
PITTSBURGH (May 26, 2010) – Qi Zhou, MD, has been named Executive Director for Quality Performance Management for UPMC Health Plan, effective immediately.
Dr. Zhou is the former Director of Quality Management and Health Informatics for Tufts Health Plan of Massachusetts, where he has worked for the past 17 years. At UPMC Health Plan, he will provide direction for the operations of the Quality Performance department, which manages the operational performance for all lines of business.
Dr. Zhou is a graduate of the Shanghai Medical University School of Medicine and has a MBA from Bryant University in Rhode Island and a master’s in Health Care Management from Harvard University. At Tufts, Mr. Zhou also served as Director of Clinical Quality Management and Manager of Quality Performance Measurement.
