HEDIS chart review planned

UPMC Health Plan is visiting a select number of physician practices this spring to review patient charts. The information obtained is used to determine scores compiled for the Health Employer Data and Information Set^® (HEDIS).

Chart reviews are underway through May 31, 2007. Patients are selected randomly. For practices involved in the review, a nurse will call to schedule an appointment and fax a list of patients prior to arriving at your office.
