 Survey Says! Providers give Health Plan top marksA recent survey of more than 435 doctors shows that physicians continue to give UPMC Health Plan top ratings, compared to other health plans. In the essential areas of customer service, provider relations, utilization management, and quality management, the Health Plan received positive ratings. The survey, conducted by The Myers Group, a nationally recognized survey research firm, indicated strong physician support — 92.4 percent of respondents said they would recommend UPMC Health Plan to patients insured by other managed care plans. The Myers Group conducted the survey from September through December 2006.
