Chatham’s Fit for the Future, supported by the programs and services of UPMC MyHealth, offers a “Wellness Degree” to participants who complete certain healthy activities outlined in a “course syllabus.” Fit for the Future saw healthy results in 2009:
Significant numbers of employees took advantage of our health coaching services to quit smoking, lose weight, and increase their knowledge about good nutrition.
Chatham University is one of a number of organizations in the area that have engaged the Health Plan to assist them in motivating and supporting employees in adopting healthier lifestyles and enhancing work productivity.
