Now, all the tools any company would need to initiate a health promotion campaign at your work location can be found through Employer OnLine, UPMC Health Plan’s Internet-based service for clients. With the Employer Health Promotion Kit, here’s what you get:

• Posters that can be downloaded. Specially designed posters that promote such wellness activities as smoking cessation, weight management, weekly walking programs, and health screenings.
• E-mail templates. Ready-made messages to employees that you can easily amend to fit your company’s needs.
• Communications strategy.  A plan, complete with timeline, that you can use to run an effective wellness campaign for your company. Also available are tips on how to build health awareness in the workforce and how to develop materials designed to encourage healthy lifestyles.
