In each issue of “Caring for Life,” we will feature a question asked of a Health Care Concierge, along with the name and photo of a concierge. Remember, your Health Care Concierge is here to help you! Please call. If you do not remember the name of your concierge, call 1-800-818-8762. Q: Can you tell me what fitness center I can use? A: You may use any fitness center that participates with our Silver&Fit™ (UPMC for Life) or Active&Fit™ (UPMC for Life Specialty Plan) programs. We just need your zip code so that we can search for a fitness center near your home. Once we find a fitness center that meets your needs, we can put you in touch with Silver&Fit or Active&Fit so that they can enroll you in a program and send you an identification card. Look for more information about Silver&Fit or Active&Fit at upmchealthplan.com. Both fitness programs have their own websites, which are accessible through the Health Plan’s website.
