Better health, online

Your health is important to us. That’s one of the reasons we created MyHealth OnLine – a computer interactive health and wellness tool. MyHealth OnLine will help you take steps to lead a healthier lifestyle. When you access this information through upmchealthplan.com, you will find useful tools such as the MyHealth Record, which will allow you to better manage your health care information. You will also have access to resources to help you manage your weight, stop smoking, become more active, and determine your health risks. Many parts of the website provide personalized, interactive information about health and wellness.
At MyHealth OnLine, information is organized into four categories – MyHealth Record, MyBenefits, MyClaims, and MyTools. In this and the next three issues of Caring for Life, we will feature one of these sections.

If you are facing a health care decision, we know that the last thing you want to do is search through a stack of documents to find information about your health care coverage. That’s where the MyHealth Record can help.
UPMC Health Plan’s MyHealth Record allows members to easily and securely manage their health information online. MyHealth Record uses information from your health care visits to display your medical history as a Health Plan member. You can also add other information in the privacy of your own home.
We’ve made it possible for you to view health information in an easy-to-read format right from your computer. The MyHealth Record contains information such as your height, weight, prescriptions, and recent health care visits. It allows you to view information from provider visits, lab screening results, and diagnostic tests. This information is submitted to the Health Plan by health care providers. You can track your progress toward health-related goals by reviewing the results of a health screening (BMI, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels).
MyHealth Record provides the following:
- Recent health care services
- Recently filled prescriptions (if you have them)
- Reminders for better health
- Total yearly drug charges
