We value you, and we value your time. Whenever you can make one phone call instead of two or even three, that saves time. Whenever you can bundle services together, that saves time ... and money.
UPMC Dental Advantage offers you and your employees an opportunity to save time and money while getting outstanding customer service. The kind you've come to expect from UPMC Health Plan. When you offer UPMC Dental Advantage to your employees, you’re also offering them one-stop service for their medical, dental, and FSA benefits (if applicable). They'll have one person to call when they have questions. And, of course, they — and you — will receive our unparalleled customer service.

- Your employees are not required to select a primary dentist regardless of which plan they choose.
- There are no waiting periods or denial of coverage for benefits on pre-existing dental conditions.
- We do not require prior authorizations for treatment.
- No ID card is required — employees just need to provide their dentist's office with some basic demographic information and the name of their employer.
- MyFlex Advantage© (FSA) program members can use their FSA debit card to pay for out-of-pocket dental expenses. And these expenses are auto-substantiated — that means less paperwork.
- Your employees have access to MyHealth OnLine to "chat" with a Member Advocate.
