Employee Assistance Program
LifeSolutionsSM, owned by UPMC, provides employers with a comprehensive program that enhances workplace productivity, health, and wellness. Members can access resources online or call for assistance with family and relationship issues, child or elder care, career challenges, stress management, anxiety or depression, and drug and alcohol concerns. Through Small Business Advantage, members have 24/7 telephone support, telephone coaching and counseling, referrals to community resources, and online WorkLife resources. Account Management
Answers to client questions are only a phone call away. From initial enrollment to renewal assistance, your designated account manager will work closely with you and your broker (if applicable), using a consultative approach to administer your account.
Dedicated Member Services
Members will have telephone access to a personal Member Advocate, who will call to welcome them to the program, help them understand coverage, provide preventive care reminders, and notify them of special events related to their health benefits. Member Advocates serve as advisors to help members make important decisions regarding their benefits.
MyHealth Wellness Services
Small businesses now have access to a variety of wellness assessments and programs through UPMC Health Plan’s MyHealth program, including online tools, personalized health improvement programs, and discounts on physical fitness activities. Our online tools enable members to design personal action plans for getting in shape, eating better, losing weight, and quitting tobacco.
Smoking Cessation Program
Our program focuses on education, problem-solving skills, social support, and stress management. Small Business Advantage includes a 24/7 quit line, smoking cessation drug coverage with member copayment, and health coaching calls.
Health Management Programs
Members have access to diabetes educators, nurses, pharmacists, and other health experts who can help them identify problems and can work with them and their physicians to manage specific medical conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes, respiratory problems, depression, low back pain, and pregnancy.
24/7 MyHealth Advice Line
UPMC Health Plan’s MyHealth Advice Line is available 24/7 to provide members with health care advice. When a member calls to discuss a specific health issue, experienced registered nurses can provide prompt and efficient service over the phone.
Healthy Living Rewards
Members are automatically enrolled in our exclusive member discount program, Healthy Living Rewards. Members simply need to present their ID card to be eligible for discounts at participating fitness centers, health food stores, sporting goods stores, and other health-related businesses. Healthy Living Rewards includes more than 200 fitness centers in Pennsylvania and more than 1,400 nationally.
