2011-12 Flu Season Information

Flu season is here. Please cover your mouth when you sneeze, wash your hands frequently, and above all … TAKE TIME TO GET VACCINATED.

This flu season, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone age six months and older get a flu shot!

  • This year’s vaccine includes protection from the seasonal flu and from H1N1, too.
  • You can get your flu shot at your doctor’s office, pharmacy, or at a local flu clinic.
  • There is also a vaccine to help prevent pneumonia. Ask your doctor if you need this vaccine too.
