Convenience care clinics now available

UPMC Health Plan members are now covered for services at any of 10 convenience care clinics located in select Eckerd pharmacies throughout Western Pennsylvania.

Members can receive walk-in service at Take Care Health Centers^sm for a defined range of health care procedures, including treatment for minor illnesses such as sinus infections, allergies, and ear infections. Take Care Health Centers also provide limited injections such as flu and tetanus shots.

For the cost of a primary care physician visit copayment, members can receive prompt and convenient service at a location near them.

For people with busy lifestyles, Take Care Health Centers are a convenient way to receive health services. However, keep in mind the centers are in no way intended to replace the comprehensive care covered by primary care physicians. Call 1-866-825-3227 for more information.
