Spending accounts for healthcare expenses

  • A Health Incentive Account (HIA), funded by UPMC Health Plan, gives members the opportunity to earn money in their HIA by completing healthy activities. These funds can be used to pay for out-of-pocket health care expenses such as deductibles and prescriptions.
  • A lower premium, higher deductible plan with an option to add a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)
