How Members can Register
for UPMC Health Plan's Member OnLine Services
- You can click on Online Access and
then select For Members from the menu at the top of your screen, or
you can click on For Members in the menu on the left-hand side of
your screen.

The Member OnLine information
page will be displayed. In the Login window on the left-hand side of
your screen, click on the First time user? Click here.
link.

The Account Registration Terms
and Conditions will be displayed. Read through the information by
scrolling down the page.

Accept the Health Plan OnLine
Member Registration Agreement by selecting the I Accept radio button
and then clicking on Next.
- The Health Plan OnLine
Member Registration - Screen 2 of 2 will be displayed.
The data entry requirements
for each field are detailed below:

Enter your UPMC
Health Plan Member ID that can be found on your Health Plan ID Card.

Last 4 digits of
SSN

Enter the last
four digits of your social security number.

Date of Birth

Enter your date
of birth in mm-dd-yyyy format (e.g., if your birth date is April
1, 1960, you
would enter 04 in the first box, 01 in the second box, and 1960 in the last
box).

Zip Code
|
Enter your
5-digit zip code.

|
Choose a password
|
Enter any
password that you like. (Any
restrictions, i.e., no special characters, etc.)?

Confirm password
|
Enter your
password again to confirm it.
|
|
Secret Question
|
Select a secret
question.
|
|
Answer
|
Enter the answer
to the question selected in the field above.
|
|
Email Address
|
Enter your email
address.
|
|
Home Phone
|
Enter your home
telephone number using only digits (e.g., if your phone number is (412)
555-1234, you would enter 4125551234).

Work Phone
|
Enter your work
telephone number using only digits (e.g., if your phone number is (412)
555-1234, you would enter 4125551234).

- When you have completed the form, click on
Submit. If you would like to clear the form and begin again,
click on Clear.
- After clicking on Submit, UPMC Health Plan OnLine will provide you with a
User ID that will be displayed at the top of
your screen. Make a note of it. You will need this User ID,
along with your Password each time that you want to access UPMC Health
Plan's Member OnLine Services.
