Dental Discounts for Routine and Major Services
With one of the largest dental discount provider networks in the country, New Benefits, Ltd., provides UPMC for Life members with a convenient way to save money on routine and major dental services. You can take advantage of our easy-to-use dental discount program at any participating dental provider.
Please be aware that this dental discount program only applies to UPMC for Life members who have individual plan benefits through our UPMC for Life HMO, UPMC for Life HMO Rx (HMO), UPMC for Life HMO Rx Enhanced (HMO), UPMC for Life PPO High Deductible with Rx (PPO), and UPMC for Life PPO Rx Enhanced (PPO) plans. If you are a member of UPMC for Life through a previous employer, your dental benefits will not include this dental discount program.
Here are just a few of the advantages:
- Savings starting at 15% on dental services, such as routine cleanings and exams, x-rays and fillings, root canals and crowns, and dentures and bridges.
- You will have virtually no paperwork and no need to wait for a check; the discount is applied at the time of your dental services.
- There is no limit on the number of times you can use your dental discount card during the year.
- A list of network dental providers in locations closest to you will be providedto you upon enrollment.

To locate a provider or for questions on the discount card, call New Benefits Member Services at 1-866-917-9730, Monday – Friday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time. TTY/TDD users should call 1-800-361-2629. You can also visit the new benefits website at www.locateproviders.com. Enter the number 7951 in the group or client number field and click on continue.
