As a UPMC for Life member, you can take advantage of our Health Care Concierge program.* With just one call, you’ll get in touch with a concierge who can help you:

• Find a network provider
• Get answers to benefit questions and explain how your health plan works
• Resolve claim questions
• Explain your premium bill
• Connect you with the expanded services of our new UPMC Resources for Life program
  

Additional resources are now available for UPMC for Life members with our UPMC Resources for Life program.* Whether you’re preparing for retirement, managing stress, or dealing with some other routine or unexpected matter impacting your life, you can get assistance by calling your Health Care Concierge.

UPMC Resources for Life

Your health care concierge will connect you to a team member who has been specially trained as a resource guide. Help is just a phone call away for personal resources in the following areas:

• Legal guidance for taxes, trusts, wills, elder law, and establishing power of attorney and living wills
• Financial counseling for household budgeting, retirement planning, and preventing identity theft
• Community resources that can provide information about volunteer opportunities, caregiver support, elder care, transportation, and in-home services
• Short-term counseling over the telephone to help with everyday life challenges, including stress, depression, and family matters
• If you’re already a UPMC for Life member, you can start using these new services January 1, 2009. Call your Health Care Concierge toll-free at 1-877-539-3080, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.,** seven days a week. TTY/TDD users should call 1-800-361-2629.
