The UPMC Health Plan Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee, made up of physicians and pharmacists from communities through the UPMC Health Plan service area, decides which medications to include on our drug list based on a drug's safety, effectiveness, and cost. The P&T Committee's job is to make sure that our UPMC for You members receive high-quality, cost-effective prescription drugs.
