How your card works

You receive a card that gives you easy access to the funds in your health care flexible spending account. It’s preloaded with the funds you specified when you enrolled. This way, you can pay for qualified health care expenses wherever VISA® is accepted — from physician and dental offices to local pharmacies and optical shops. Approved expenses are automatically deducted from your available balance. No matter what type of card you have, there are some things to keep in mind. Most important, it can only be used to pay for eligible expenses, including:

  • Doctors’ office visits
  • Prescription drugs
  • Vision and dental expenses
