Do you have grandchildren who need health insurance?

The Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) may be the answer. CHIP is available to all uninsured children and teens (up to age 19) who are not eligible for Medical Assistance, regardless of family income. No family makes too much money for CHIP. And many families will not have to pay for CHIP. Families with higher incomes will have to pay a low monthly premium and copayments for some services.

UPMC Health Plan’s CHIP product is called UPMC for Kids. Coverage includes medical care, prescription drugs, dental and vision care, and other services. To learn more about how children and teens can be enrolled in CHIP, call UPMC for Kids at 1-800-978-8762 or visit us online at www.upmchealthplan.com/upmcforkids.
