Please listen to our important phone calls At UPMC for Life, we care about you and your health. Regular checkups and appropriate screenings can improve your health and may extend your life. And we’re calling to tell you about them. We believe that using telephone technology that automatically dials your phone and leaves a prerecorded message is a good way to provide simple reminders about scheduling annual checkups and preventive tests, such as glaucoma screenings or diabetic retinal eye exams. Other members may receive computer-generated reminder calls to schedule their annual diabetes tests or colon cancer test. This “telephone messaging” is a low-cost way for UPMC for Life to reach many members in a short period of time. Whenever you receive an automated phone call, you always have the option of requesting to be transferred to speak to a UPMC for Life Health Care Concierge or a health coach. So please don’t hang up; stay on and listen!
