Breakfast doesn't have to be a fancy, sit-down ordeal. Start your family off on the right foot with these fun and healthy breakfast suggestions.

  • Split a whole grain bagel. Layer each half with peanut butter and raisins. Serve with fat-free milk.
  • Pair up a container of yogurt with half a whole grain bagel and reduced-sugar fruit juice.
  • Take a pancake made with whole grain flour, spread it with peanut butter, and top it with sliced bananas. Roll it up and eat it like a wrap.
  • Create a breakfast parfait with layers of fruit yogurt, sliced fresh fruit, and crunchy cereal.
  • Swirl applesauce and raisins into a packet of hot oatmeal. Serve with a cup of milk.
  • Combine in blender until frothy: ½ cup lemon yogurt, ½ cup milk, a dash of vanilla extract, and two ice cubes. Serve with a slice of whole grain toast.
