	Assist America Overview

When your employees travel more than 100 miles from home, either internationally or domestically, they continue to have easy access to care through our travel assistance partner, Assist America. This benefit enables your employees to locate doctors and hospitals and also handle emergencies wherever they go. Assist America personnel can help replace prescriptions, provide emergency medical evacuation, and arrange transportation for family members to join sick or injured relatives. 

Support on Standby

Assist America's support is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This service is available to all employees as part of your UPMC Health Plan contract and has no caps, limits, or pre-existing condition exclusions for any of your employees who are UPMC Health Plan members. When needed, services for members are arranged by Assist America.
