Care across the nation…
If you work for a Pennsylvania employer but live or work outside the Health Plan’s regular service area, you can get seamless routine care through our partnerships with Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS) and the complementary MultiPlan network and Medical Mutual of Ohio (MMO). PHCS and Multiplan have a network of nearly 550,000 providers and 4,500 facilities across the country. MMO serves our members who live or travel in Ohio through its more than 190 hospitals and 20,000 physicians. Access to pharmacy coverage is also uninterrupted, with a network of more than 30,000 pharmacies, including regional and national chains as well as hundreds of independent retailers.

When you travel more than 100 miles from home, you continue to have easy access to emergency care through our travel assistance partner, Assist America®. This benefit enables you to locate doctors and hospitals and also handle emergencies wherever you go. Assist America personnel can help replace prescriptions, provide emergency medical evacuation, and arrange transportation for family members to join sick or injured relatives. |
