Turning 65 Soon? As you approach 65, you may be concerned about finding health care coverage that will best suit your needs.Although you cannot enroll in Medicare until three months before your 65th birthday, it is never too early to study your options. To help you make the decision that is best for you, UPMC for Life can provide information designed to help you take advantage of all the benefits our plans offer. When you reach 65, you will have several options to choose from, including original Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans. UPMC for Life offers an assortment of products designed to give you the coverage you need. If you would like, we can send you a packet of information about our products to help you select a plan that works for you. To help give you an overview of Medicare, we have provided links to a brochure that can provide additional information about the coverage plans that UPMC for Life offers. We also have a link to the Social Security Administration's website where you will be directed to a booklet called Medicare. This booklet can help you answer questions about Medicare qualifications, when and how to register, exactly what Medicare covers, and other special enrollment situations.
