SilverSneakers® fitness program UPMC for Life Complete Care members can join local participating fitness facilities at no additional cost. Get physically fit and stay active with these membership perks: • Unlimited FREE access to participating fitness facilities. • One FREE personal training session per year at a participating fitness facility. • Support from trained instructors. • Access to dance studios, yoga studios, and swimming pools (where available). • Amenities such as saunas, steam rooms, and whirlpools (where available). • The option to work out in the comfort of your own home instead of joining a fitness facility with SilverSneakers Steps.® You can choose two fitness kits from a variety offered by SilverSneakers. • SilverSneakers On-Demand™ exercise videos. Members can access by logging in to the member portal: SilverSneakers.com/StartHere. To begin using your SilverSneakers membership: • Take your SilverSneakers membership ID card or number to a local participating fitness facility. It’s just that easy! If you are a new member, your membership ID card will be mailed to you within the first month of your membership. • If you want to work out at home with fitness kits, call SilverSneakers at 1-888-881-9997 (TTY: 711) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. To use your FREE personal training session: • Call SilverSneakers at 1-888-881-9997 (TTY: 711) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. • A voucher for one FREE 30-minute personal training session will be mailed to you. You can redeem it at a participating fitness facility. 22 Healthy food allowance Diabetic members located in western and central PA can receive $50 allowance per quarter—$200 a year — to buy healthy foods at participating stores for diabetic members. This allowance will roll over each quarter but must be used in full by the end of the calendar year. If you qualify, we’ll mail you a healthy food card, a list of participating stores, and information about the kinds of healthy foods you can buy.
