19 To find a participating vision provider, log in to My Health OnLine and click Find Care. You can also call your Health Care Concierge team for assistance. Preventive care services E UPMC for Life Complete Care covers most preventive care at 100 percent when you see a participating provider. That means you can get this important care at no additional cost to you. Check with your PCP to find out what preventive care is right for you. Preventive services fall into three categories: Vision benefits You receive a routine vision exam and allowance every year. • $0 copay for your routine vision exam. • Use your routine vision allowance 4 for the cost of eyewear, such as lenses and frames or contact lenses. Coverage area Yearly vision allowance Eastern PA $100 1. Annual wellness visit. Your annual wellness visit can help you stay healthy. Use this valuable time with your doctor to review your overall health and discuss the preventive screenings and exams you may need. 2. Screenings. Here is a partial list of screenings that are covered at no additional cost to you: alcohol use, blood pressure, bone mass measurement, colon cancer, depression, diabetes, glaucoma, HIV, mammogram, obesity, Pap, pelvic, prostate cancer, and ultrasound for abdominal aortic aneurysm. 3. Immunizations. Getting the immunizations you need can help you avoid being sick. Most people should get a flu vaccine annually. You may also want to get the pneumonia, tetanus, and shingles vaccines. Talk to your doctor about the immunizations that are recommended for you.
