Personal counseling for caregivers
UPMC for Life members and their family and friends who are caregivers can receive six caregiver counseling sessions over the phone or through a virtual visit at no additional cost. Learn ways to reduce your feelings of loss, loneliness, or stress. Get resources to communicate effectively, make tough decisions, set goals, and solve problems. Powerful Tools for Caregivers
This six-week online class teaches you how to take care of yourself while caring for a spouse, relative, or friend who lives at home or in a nursing home. It is available to members and all attendees at no cost. All you need is a valid email address and a computer with a camera and microphone to participate.
