UPMC Health Plan’s Sheri Manning Receives Communicator of the Year Award at Pittsburgh Public Relations Society of America Renaissance Awards

Health Plan Also Recognized for Five More Initiatives

 

PITTSBURGH, PA – Sheri Manning, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for UPMC Health Plan, was named the Communicator of the Year at the Pittsburgh Public Relations Society of America’s Renaissance Awards. The event honors the region’s top public relations and marketing professionals, as well as some of the best marketing initiatives executed by corporations, agencies and non-profit groups in the Pittsburgh area.

Manning and her team have been challenged with the complex task of educating consumers about the Affordable Care Act and the new Health Care Marketplace. She has led the implementation of marketing strategies across a wide array of platforms — from traditional advertising and direct mail to a new online shopping experience and retail kiosks in area malls.
