Looking after a loved one with long-term care needs can be rewarding, but also stressful at times. In conjunction with the Institute on Aging, we offer the Powerful Tools for Caregivers program. This program teaches you how to take care of yourself while caring for a spouse, relative, or friend who lives at home or in a nursing home.
The Powerful Tools for Caregivers program can help you:

- Communicate your needs effectively.
- Reduce guilt, anger, and depression.
- Make tough decisions.
- Set goals and solve problems.
- Get rid of negative self-talk.
