UPMC Resources for Life®

UPMC Resources for Life can offer solutions to life’s problems big or small. Through this program, we can connect you with community resources, telephonic counseling, and personal caregiver support. Call UPMC Resources for Life toll-free at 1-866-441-4395 (TTY: 711) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Or go to Resources for Life and use the password RESOURCES.

Personal Counseling

You can receive six counseling sessions per concern per year—over the phone or through a virtual visit—at no extra cost.* Your counselor can help you with family and relationship concerns, stress, grief, and other emotions you may be experiencing. Call 1-866-441-4395 (TTY: 711) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to get started. You can also connect with a counselor face-to-face through UPMC AnywhereCare. Just select UPMC Virtual Counseling after you sign up or log in.

Counseling for caregivers

Your family members or caregivers can receive six counseling sessions at no extra cost.* This benefit can be used to help caregivers reduce their feelings of loss, loneliness, or stress. It can also offer caregivers resources for communicating effectively, making tough decisions, setting goals, and solving problems. Call 1-866-441-4395 (TTY: 711) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to get started.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers

This six-week online class teaches you how to take care of yourself while caring for a spouse, relative, or friend who lives at home or in a nursing home. It is available to members and all attendees at no cost. For more information, call your Health Care Concierge team at 1-800-606-8648 (TTY: 711).*

SilverSneakers fitness benefits make it easy for UPMC for Life members to stay active at home! Take advantage of live, online fitness classes, the SilverSneakers® GO™ mobile app, at-home fitness kits, and more. Go to SilverSneakers for more information and to get started today!

  • Over-the-Counter (OTC) Allowance — A quarterly mail-order allowance that can be used to buy the health and wellness items you use every day (on some plans).

  • MyHealth OnLine — Access to a secure members-only website where you can track your health information.
