You can receive six counseling sessions per concern per year—over the phone or through a virtual visit—at no extra cost.* Your counselor can help you with family and relationship concerns, stress, grief, and other emotions you may be experiencing. Call 1-866-441-4395 (TTY: 711) Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to get started. You can also connect with a counselor face-to-face through UPMC AnywhereCare. Just select UPMC Virtual Counseling after you sign up or log in.
Counseling for caregivers
Your family members or caregivers can receive six counseling sessions at no extra cost.* This benefit can be used to help caregivers reduce their feelings of loss, loneliness, or stress. It can also offer caregivers resources for communicating effectively, making tough decisions, setting goals, and solving problems. Powerful Tools for Caregivers
This six-week online class teaches you how to take care of yourself while caring for a spouse, relative, or friend who lives at home or in a nursing home.
