UPMC for Life members can connect with participating doctors and providers face-to-face through a video appointment. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer that can show video and has a microphone.
Seeing your doctor over video is simple to use and allows you to interact face-to-face when making health care decisions. Your doctor can do many of the same things to treat you through a video visit that are done during an in-office visit. Many visits can also be done over the phone.
Your copay will be the same, or less, than if you were seeing your doctor in-person. Your provider must be in the same state as you during your visit.

You can use UPMC AnywhereCare 24/7 to visit with a provider through video for common medical conditions such as colds and flu, sinus infections, coughs and sore throats, urinary symptoms, back pain, sunburn, pink eye, and poison ivy. You’ll receive a personalized care plan and a prescription, if needed, from a UPMC provider—usually within minutes. UPMC providers can also make referrals and answer your medical questions.
NEW! Now you can use this service to meet with a counselor for a personal counseling session. UPMC for Life members get six personal counseling sessions per concern per year at no cost.
UPMC AnywhereCare providers* are easily accessible over live video straight from your smartphone, tablet, or computer any time, day or night.
