UPMC for Life members can connect with participating doctors and providers face-to-face through a video appointment. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer that can show video and has a microphone.
Seeing your doctor over video is simple to use and allows you to interact face-to-face when making health care decisions. Your doctor can do many of the same things to treat you through a video visit that are done during an in-office visit. Many visits can also be done over the phone.
Your copay will be the same, or less, than if you were seeing your doctor in-person. Your provider must be in the same state as you during your visit.
