The Andy Warhol Museum
Kick the winter blues with FREE PUBLIC ADMISSION* to The Andy Warhol Museum from 5 to 10 p.m., on January 4, 11, 18, and 25. Mingle with friends, take in the funky artwork of Andy Warhol and other artists, groove to hip vibes from a DJ, and sip tempting libations at the bar. Check out The Warhol’s latest exhibition, Cry Baby, from artist and Carnegie Mellon University professor Devan Shimoyama. Devan’s captivating artwork depicts a vulnerable yet resilient portrait of African American boyhood and masculinity. This exhibition features paintings, photography, and sculptures that span his career-to-date, plus a series of new works that will be on view for the first time.
This event is a part of UPMC MyHealth Community, an initiative of UPMC Health Plan that supports public programs to help families and individuals achieve a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle.
