Event Schedule

Let’s connect. We can’t wait to meet you!

The UPMC Health Plan Neighborhood Center provides virtual health care services, a food pantry, workforce development programs, social services, and referrals to supportive resources for UPMC Health Plan members and all individuals and families in the community.

UPMC Health Plan Connect Center

Meet with a UPMC Health Plan Connect Center representative to explore health insurance options for yourself and your family. We can also help current UPMC Health Plan members understand the services and benefits offered by their plan.

UPMC Pathways to Work

Your UPMC career is waiting for you! Our dedicated recruiters can help guide you toward employment at UPMC by matching you with open positions that meet your interest and qualifications. We’ll support you through the hiring process, from application to interview. Recruiters can meet with you either in person at the Neighborhood Center, or over the phone, based on availability. Call us to make an appointment.

UPMC AnywhereCare virtual clinic and telehealth visits

UPMC Health Plan members* can call us to schedule an appointment for a virtual visit with a UPMC health care provider at one of our telehealth kiosks in the Neighborhood Center. For those interested in UPMC AnywhereCare services (our virtual urgent care platform for non-life-threatening symptoms), walk-ins may be seen during normal hours of operation, subject to availability.

Food Pantry

Our food pantry is open to the public one Saturday per month during normal operating hours. Families and individuals can take home a box of free food containing a selection of nutritious shelf-stable items, fresh produce, meats, dairy, and frozen items. Food boxes are limited to one per family/individual, per month, and are available on a first-come, first served basis while the food pantry is open. While making an appointment is not required, pre-registration is preferred. Call us to register and learn about food pantry operation dates.

Community partner services

Our community partners offer a variety of programs and services at our Neighborhood Center. You can access resources to help you earn a GED, find and apply for jobs offered by local employers, participate in workforce training programs, receive financial education, and more.

Referrals to supportive resources

Need some help navigating a challenging life situation? UPMC Health Plan’s community health workers can discuss your needs and offer referrals to social services and supportive resources in your community—such as affordable housing, transportation to and from work, mental health resources, childcare assistance, and others.

Temporary childcare

Children from birth through school age can receive complimentary onsite childcare while parents and guardians visit and participate in programs at our Neighborhood Center.** Our certified childcare staff will make sure little ones stay safe and creatively occupied, so people can take advantage of our services without worry.

We extend our gratitude to Walnut Capital for their collaboration with us and their support of this initiative.
