UPMC for Life Continues Top Ranking Through a Commitment to Exceptional Service, Trust, and Member Experience

PITTSBURGH (Sept. 21, 2026) – UPMC Health Plan's UPMC for Life Medicare Advantage plan has once again earned the highest member satisfaction ranking among Medicare Advantage plans in Pennsylvania in the JD Power 2026 U.S. Medicare Advantage Satisfaction StudySM. This marks the fourth consecutive year that UPMC for Life has achieved the No. 1 ranking, underscoring the plan's ongoing commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for its members.

The JD Power U.S. Medicare Advantage Satisfaction Study measures member satisfaction across key aspects of the health plan experience, from trust and access to care to customer service and digital tools. UPMC for Life received the highest score in Pennsylvania for the 2026 study and has ranked first in the state every year since 2023.

  • Service provided by representatives and call center agents
  • Members rated us #1 for resolving problems or complaints
  • Digital channels

The plan's continued success reflects its focus on combining personalized service with meaningful benefits that help members maintain their health, independence, and quality of life. UPMC for Life offers a range of affordable Medicare Advantage plans with benefits that include dental and vision allowances, hearing aid discounts, and a prepaid UPMC for Life Flex Spend Card that can be used toward eligible health-related expenses.

Many plans also include access to the SilverSneakers® fitness program, home safety benefits, and caregiver support resources designed to help members remain active, engaged, and connected to the care they need.
