Musculoskeletal procedures update

Effective Feb. 1, 2024, UPMC Health Plan will begin requiring prior authorizations for certain musculoskeletal procedures, which will be evaluated using corresponding Interqual Connect criteria. Those procedures, and the associated procedure codes, are:

MFA is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection by requiring more than just a password. This MFA requirement is expected to take effect on June 25, 2026.

Dexcom, Inc. is recalling two lots of Dexcom G7 sensors. Dexcom G7 sensors are used to monitor blood glucose levels as part of the Dexcom Glucose Monitoring system.
