The CAHPS survey is coming soon

Jan. 2026Important Notices

The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) survey will be conducted from March through May. This survey gathers feedback from patients about their care experiences and is distributed across all lines of business. The results play a critical role in shaping quality ratings, reimbursement, and patient confidence in their care.

How providers can help

  • Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments promptly and send reminders for upcoming visits.
  • Follow up after referrals or tests to confirm completion and address any lingering questions.
  • Make sure patients and their caregivers end the visit with a clear understanding of any follow-up care or next steps. Provide a printed summary of the visit or direct them to the patient portal.

These simple steps can help improve patient experience and care coordination CAHPS scores, as well as boost positive health outcomes.
