Why care coordination matters for Medicare members

October 27, 2026

Today’s healthcare system can be complicated—especially for Medicare beneficiaries who see multiple doctors, take several medications, or manage chronic conditions. One of the most important parts of a positive healthcare experience is making sure all these pieces work together. That’s where care coordination comes in.

What you’ll learn:

In this episode, Dr. Dillon Stein, Assistant Vice President of Medicare Medical Services, joins hosts Stacy Smith and Patrice King Brown. They’ll discuss how care coordination helps improve the patient experience, why your primary care physician serves as the quarterback of your healthcare team, and how a coordinated approach can help you stay healthier and avoid unnecessary complications.
