Welcome aboard, Navigators and Certified Application Counselors!
You have been tasked with the vital responsibility of educating people who are looking for insurance coverage on the Federally Facilitated Marketplace.
The goal of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is to insure virtually all Americans. In many ways, the ACA’s success depends on you and your ability to help people enroll. You will distribute fair and impartial information about enrollment in qualified health plans and tell clients about the financial assistance available to them. You will make them aware of other plan options like Medicaid, Medicare, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
UPMC Health Plan is here to assist you during the Federally Facilitated Marketplace Open Enrollment Period.* As you help your clients make the best decision about their health insurance, we can answer your questions about UPMC Health Plan coverage for individuals and families (which include some of the lowest-priced plans on the Federally Facilitated Marketplace in Pennsylvania), health care reform, and more. Turn to this website for important information and resources throughout the Open Enrollment Period.
If you cannot find the information you need on this website, please call UPMC Health Plan’s hotline for Navigators and Certified Application Counselors at 1-855-498-8762.+
