You have been tasked with the vital responsibility of educating people who are looking for insurance coverage on the Federally Facilitated Marketplace.

One of the goals of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is making affordable health insurance available to as many people as possible. This helps people stay healthy, and it evenly spreads heath care coverage costs. You will distribute fair and impartial information about enrollment in qualified health plans and tell clients about the financial assistance available to them. You will make them aware of other plan options like Medicaid, Medicare, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

If you have questions about UPMC Health Plan’s individual and family health insurance options, or if you need information about health care reform or the Federally Facilitated Marketplace, you can call us at one of the numbers listed below.

  • November 1, 2019 – December 7, 2019 — Seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • December 8, 2019 – December 15, 2019 — 24/7
  • December 16, 2019 – October 31, 2020 — Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
