UPMC’s Pathways to Work program is available to all UPMC for You members. Our goal is to connect you to training programs and other resources that can help you find a position at UPMC or elsewhere.
UPMC works with several local groups that offer no-cost job training programs. Completing one of these programs could lead you to a job in medical coding, environmental services, nursing, construction, or another field.
Applicants in the Greater Pittsburgh area:
- Visit UPMC Careers to learn about jobs at UPMC.
- Call 412-802-0988 to learn about our partnership with the Energy Innovation Center. The center offers a six-week training course on environmental services work.
- Call Literacy Pittsburgh at 412-393-7600 or visit Literacy Pittsburgh if you need help learning English or studying for the high school equivalency test or job training exams.
- Call Partner4Work at 412-552-7090 if you are a high school or college student looking for a summer internship. You can also visit Partner4Work.

- Visit Change Agency if you are a refugee or immigrant and need employment support.
