Condition management health coaching
Included in all of our plans at no extra cost. Our health coaches coordinate all services with the member’s physician. In addition, we offer lifestyle improvement health coaching (also included in your plan) for employees who want to lose weight, reduce stress, quit tobacco, or reach other goals they have set to improve their health.
Lifesolutions employee assistance program (EAP)
Comes standard with UPMC Business Advantage plans. Your employees receive three telephonic sessions per issue, and your managers receive consulting services. All employees are granted access to the Work-Life resource center with online materials for common issues the EAP can help manage. Access to a quality EAP can help your employees become healthier and more productive.
UPMC Vision Care (Exam Only) Plan
Members are eligible for a vision exam with a $15 copayment when receiving care from a participating vision provider. Members also have access to a national network of vision providers and an in-network mail-order contact lens program. Vision services, such as frames and lenses, are discounted through the NVA EYEESSENTIAL® Plan. Discounts do not apply to services received out-of-network. Restrictions may apply in certain states. Value-added vision services cannot be combined with other insurance, including any other UPMC Vision Care or UPMC Vision Advantage insurance.
UPMC Dental Advantage Discount Plan
Members receive a 20 percent discount on eligible Class I, II, and III services when receiving care from a participating dentist. The discount is applied to the dentist’s usual and customary charges. No member ID cards are required. Discount does not apply to orthodontic or cosmetic services. Discount does not apply out-of-network or outside of Pennsylvania. Value-added dental services cannot be combined with other insurance, including any other UPMC Dental Advantage insurance.
