SNAP Work and Reporting Notice
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) work and reporting requirements have changed. To keep or become eligible for SNAP benefits, certain recipients will have to meet work requirements such as working, volunteering, education, or training for at least 20 hours a week (or 80 hours each month) and report to Pennsylvania’s Department of Human Services (DHS) if they:
- Are 18-64 years old,
- Do not have a dependent child under age 14, and
- Are physically and mentally able to work.
