UPMC Health Plan member site is our members-only website for tips and tools for better health. You can find a doctor, email a nurse, and chat with a health coach who can help you manage conditions and meet your goals.

With online tools such as a personal health record, easy-to-use wellness programs, and detailed ways to search for providers, you are just a click away from great health information. Health resources such as activity trackers, health coaches, WebMD®, and more make UPMC Health Plan member site an interesting place to visit and explore.

In addition, you can access your benefit information (medical, pharmacy, vision, and dental) for the current and past years, and you can see your claim information for medical and pharmacy. You can print a temporary ID card or even change your PCP. UPMC Health Plan member site is available for members age 13 and older.

The text4baby program is available to pregnant women and new moms. You can get free tips on your cell phone to help you through your pregnancy and your baby’s first year.

Registration is easy. You can register online or from your cell phone. Your tips are timed to your due date or your baby’s birth date.

If you have service with one of the carriers listed below, text4baby is free. Even mothers without a text messaging plan can get these messages for free. If you have limited texts per month, text4baby won't reduce that limit.

24/7 Video visits

With 24/7 video visits*, members can have a video visit with a UPMC provider from a computer, tablet, or smartphone—day or night. This convenient, time-saving service works well for colds, the flu, sore throats, rashes, and other nonemergency conditions. The 24/7 video visit telemedicine service also offers care specifically for children. This service allows newborns to 17-year-olds to have virtual visits 24/7 with UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh providers over live video. Pediatric care specialists can diagnose, provide treatment options, and prescribe medication for many nonemergency illnesses.

*UPMC for You members who are in Pennsylvania at the time of a virtual visit may select a UPMC-employed provider, subject to the provider’s availability and discretion. Members who are not in Pennsylvania at the time of service may receive care from a provider employed by or contracted with UPMC. A parent or legal guardian must be present during the video portion of the visit for children under age 18. It is at the discretion of providers employed or contracted by UPMC to choose whether to treat patients ages 0 to 2. 24/7 video visits for children ages 0 to 2 are unavailable from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. in Pennsylvania. Hours may vary for visits with children under age 18 outside of Pennsylvania, and 24/7 video visits may be unavailable in those locations. This service is not available to members in Puerto Rico.
