Recall: Magnesium Citrate

Vi-Jon LLC has recalled all lots of all flavors of Magnesium Citrate Saline Laxative Oral Solution, 10 fl oz. (296mL) within their expiration date. This drug is used to treat occasional constipation and generally produces a bowel movement in 0.5 to 6 hours. The product is packaged in a 10-oz. clear round plastic bottle. Medical device correction: FreeStyle Libre 3 (Abbott – December)

Abbott has announced a medical device correction for certain FreeStyle Libre 3 sensors. These sensors monitor blood glucose levels as part of the FreeStyle Libre system, which includes a sensor, reader, and app. The correction applies only to the sensor. No other Libre products or Abbott biowearables are affected.
