Medical Assistance Eligibility

UPMC for You is a physical health managed care plan and is available to eligible individuals who live in the following counties (effective 9/1/2022):

A Department of Human Services (DHS) County Assistance Office caseworker will tell you if you are able to receive Medical Assistance. UPMC for You does not decide if you can receive Medical Assistance. DHS determines whether you qualify for Medical Assistance.

If you are eligible, your enrollment will be completed through an independent enrollment broker. The broker can explain which physical health and behavioral health plans you can join, tell you how to choose a primary care provider (PCP), and note whether you have any special needs.
