UPMC Health Plan achieves high marks in provider satisfaction

"95% of physician practice survey respondents indicate they would recommend UPMC Health Plan to other physician practices. In addition, respondents ranked UPMC Health Plan in the 93rd percentile or higher in 17 of 19 questions from the annual Provider Satisfaction Survey.

UPMC Health Plan contracts with SPH Analytics to conduct an annual Provider Satisfaction Survey. You may be invited to participate in the 2022 survey that will begin in mid-August. The survey will ask for feedback on your experience with UPMC Health Plan as well as other health plans you work with. Watch for an invitation in the mail or via email in August."

The Telephonic Psychiatric Consultation Service Program (TiPS) is a Pennsylvania HealthChoices program that gives primary care providers access to free, on-demand consultations with child and adolescent psychiatrists, typically within 30 minutes. It is available to providers of children and adolescents who have Pennsylvania Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program, or UPMC Health Plan commercial insurance.
