Recall: Brimonidine

Apotex Corp. is voluntarily recalling six lots of Brimonidine Tartrate Ophthalmic Solution, 0.15%. The drug is used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. This recall is due to cracks that have developed in some of the Brimonidine tartrate ophthalmic solution bottles’ caps. Read the full text of the Brimonidine recall.

Unique Pharmaceutical Laboratories (A Div. of J. B. Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd.) is recalling four lots (GY825029, GY825030, GY825031, GY825032) of Cetirizine Hydrochloride Tablets USP 5 mg. Cetirizine is used for the relief of allergy symptoms, including itchy, red, watery eyes and itchy skin.
