Recall: Brimonidine

Apotex Corp. is voluntarily recalling six lots of Brimonidine Tartrate Ophthalmic Solution, 0.15%. The drug is used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It is available to providers of children and adolescents who have Pennsylvania Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program, or UPMC Health Plan commercial insurance.
